My ideal amount of time to work on a couple's wedding invitations is eight months or more. This gives us 2-4 months to design, have meetings for any changes, have custom artwork painted or drawn, and send everything into production. 

From there production takes around 3-4 weeks depending on the printing processes and embellishments chosen. Once everything is received that leaves somewhere around three and a half months for invitations to be assembled and mailed and received by your guests.

Timeframe for Wedding Invitation Design

You may reach out at any point during the planning process with your couple's information. I'm happy to put together a proposal at that time, even if the wedding is for the following year.

A fifty percent deposit would also lock in that date for your client for their wedding.

How early can we reach out to check availability?

I offer all sorts of stationery and signage for the wedding day, including, but not limited to, menus, place cards or escort cards, seating charts, table numbers, welcome signs, and various other signs.

I can also provide collaboration, ideas and mock-ups for larger installations like seating charts and work with you and the couple to have them produced.

What day-of stationery & signage do you offer?

I am a fire/paramedic wife and I love being able to give a discount to first responder couples. A first responder is someone who works in Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS, Dispatch and I also extend the discount to any military (current or veteran) couples.

The discount these couples receive is 10% off of their entire order.

Do you offer any discounts?

While I do not do any calligraphy myself, I work with a network of calligraphy artists to be able to provide calligraphy for any client who wants to add this service on to their order. 

As an industry standard, calligraphed guest addressing starts around $5.00 per envelope and can go up from there depending on the level of intricacy being requested. 

Is calligraphy offered as an add-on?

Embellishments are one of my favorite ways to really customize an invitation suite and make them even more romantic. I offer everything from custom designed wax seals, to velvet and silk ribbon. Vellum wraps have become a popular add-on, as well as "always included" envelope liners.

I like to continue a wax stamp detail or a ribbon from the invitation suite all the way into the day-of stationery for a complete look.
